PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for maintaining pile driving safety capable of tightly holding a pile after a safe distance from the pile has been maintained, even if the thickness or the kind of the pile is different. SOLUTION: The instrument for maintaining pile driving safety includes the proper length of a handle 34, a strike plate 31 mounted on the front end of the handle 34 in a T-shape, a wire 38 binding the pile aimed at holding in a loop 40, by cooperating with the strike plate 31 and a tightening cam 33 fixing the wire 38, in a state of binding the pile. An R 37 is attached to the surface coming into contact with the pile of the strike plate 31.
