PURPOSE: A digital TV and a method for receiving a program according to users thereof are provided to grant an ID to each user and limit broadcasting according to broadcasting permit rating of the users. CONSTITUTION: A method for receiving a program according to users of a digital TV includes the steps of turning on the digital TV, and setting up an ID and a password of a user and set-up information(S100-S120); inputting the set-up ID and the password if a view mode according to users is set up in the digital TV(S150); judging whether the input ID is the ID of a manager or the ID of other user than the manager if the password to the ID is correct(S160); displaying in a manager mode in accordance with manager set-up information if the input ID is the ID of the manager; and executing the view mode according to users if the input ID is the ID of the other user than the manager. |
