PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an electronic camera. SOLUTION: A cartridge housing chamber 24 has spaces 24a and 24b formed deeply toward the front surface of a camera housing 3 at the left and right parts of the housing 3 corresponding to swellings at both ends of a sheet cartridge 23 associated with the outside shape of the cartridge 23 that its both ends are more swollen than its center part. A component mounted board 29 provided with a CCD 21 and a heat sink 31 in which a heating head 30 is fixed is arranged between the spaces 24a and 24b. Thus, the space in the camera housing is effectively utilized and the electronic camera is miniaturized. When a back cover 2 is opened, a platen roller 32, a grip roller 40 and a pinch roller 38 are retreated, so that the cartridge 23 is easily exchanged. |
