PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the joining of mutual members and facilitate a cycling at every span when a precast segment type continuous elevated railway bridge is constructed, while the shortening of the term of works and the reduction of a cost are limited in a conventional cast-in-place continuous rigid-frame bridge. SOLUTION: When the continuous elevated railway bridge is constructed, a precast pier is built on a pier foundation, precast beams are stretched on the pier, joint surfaces among the pier and the beams is filled with joint mortar, the pier and the beams are clamped by a binding steel material in which one end is engaged in the pier foundation, one span is built and the continuous elevated bridge is constructed by repeating the process. |
