PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously manufacturing a thermoplastic resin film reduced in optical phase difference by melt extrusion, and a substrate for a display element using the thermoplastic resin film. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin film cooled and solidified after melt extrusion, only both end parts of the film are closely brought into contact with a cooling member to be cooled and solidified without closely bringing the central part of the film into contact with the cooling member. |
