PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of displaying a map as an air view. SOLUTION: The input of the position of a view point is received and a projection plane is determined on the basis of the coordinates and view point positions of the present place and a destination so that the drawing position of two points after fluoroscopic convertion becomes a predetermined position. Alternatively, the input of a reduced scale ratio is received and the view point position and the projection plane are determined on the basis of the coordinates and reduced scale ratio of two points so that the drawing position of two points after fluoroscopic conversion becomes the predetermined position and the reduced scale ratio of drawing becomes the inputted reduced scale ratio. Alternatively, the input of a projection angle is received and the projection plane is determined on the basis of the projection angle and the view point position. Map data is fluoroscopically converted to the projection plane to obtain the air view.
