PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator wherein in the structures of a condenser and an accumulator of the refrigerator cooling power of the condenser is kept unchanged, an influence to the dispositions of other parts and so on is reduced, and further defrosting time is reduced together with the reduction of consumed electric power. SOLUTION: A heat transfer pipe 8 located at an upper portion of one side of a condenser 6 is formed by shortening the pipe in the widthwise direction thereof and laminating it upward, whereby an air gap section 14 is provided on the other side of the condenser 6, in which air space an accumulator 10 is disposed, and only the upper portion of the foregoing condenser 6 is processed, and further an upper portion of the accumulator 10 is formed at a lower position than an upper end of fins 7 of the uppermost stage of the heat transfer pipe 8.
