PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating resin composition having an excellent coating film performance such as a high adhesion, weather-resistance, chemical-resistance and a high hardness as well as excellent storage stability and coating workability. SOLUTION: The coating resin composition contains a copolymer (A) of 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexyl (meth)acrylate and at least one kind of monomer selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group-containing monomer and a carboxy group-containing monomer; and a cross-linking agent (B) such as at least one kind of organic cross-linking agent selected from the group consisting of amino resins and polyisocyanates.
