WORKING SCAFFOLD FOR ESCALATOR AND ASSEMBLING METHOD FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely assemble a scaffold without being influenced by equipment and building structure around an escalator. SOLUTION: Fixing posts 12 for the scaffold are erected on step treads 8 of the escalator 4 at designated spaces extending from the downstairs to the upstairs. A scaffold step tread fitting horizontal post and a scaffold opening stop horizontal post 20 are fixed to a pair of scaffold fixing pots 12 erected on the same step tread 8. A latch having a U-shaped section is hooked on the scaffold step tread fitting horizontal posts, and both corner parts on the upstairs side of the scaffold step tread 10 are fixed to the latch by bolts to thereby assemble the scaffold extending from the downstairs to the upstairs.
