PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for manufacturing magnet is provided to maximize manufacturing efficiency and improve productivity by allowing material input, magnetization and measurement of magnetic force to be performed in a single unit, while preventing waste of power. CONSTITUTION: A turn table(2) including a rotatable disk(21) and a driver(22) is mounted onto a frame(1) in such a manner that materials(10) are disposed on the turn table and the turn table rotates. A material feed unit(3) constituted by a vibrator(31) having a hopper, and a feed rail(33) is mounted at the side portion of the rotatable disk in such a manner that materials are continuously fed to the circumference of the rotatable disk. A standard check unit(4) for checking size of the rotating material, a material sorting unit(5) for sorting out defective materials, a magnetization unit(6) for magnetizing the material being transferred, a magnetic force check unit(7) for checking the degree of magnetic force of the magnetized material, and a magnet selecting unit(8) for discriminating finished product from the defective materials, are sequentially mounted on the frame.
