METHOD FOR JOINING PRECAST CONCRETE CULVERT BY PUTTING MORTAR INTO PRECAST CONCRETE CULVERT WITH GROUTING PIPE AND MALE/FEMALE SHEARING KEY

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for intensively joining precast concrete culverts by putting mortar into the concrete culverts mounted with grouting pipes and male/female shearing keys to allow favorable water-tightening effect. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps of (a) delivering PC culverts(10) previously prepared to an actual spot; (b) attaching inner/outer water-resistant material(21) to connection portions of the PC culverts(10); (c) connecting new PC culverts(10) to existing PC culverts(10); and (d) introducing non-compression crude steel mortar into the connection portion of both culverts through the grouting pipe(15). The culvert is able to be rectangular box structure and have continuous band groove. The band groove includes multiple key grooves(17) at equal intervals. The grouting pipe(15) is able to be mounted on inlets inside a passage of the key grooves(17). The shearing key(18) is inserted into the key groove(17) and spaced therefrom.
