PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon steel sheet which has low iron loss after finish annealing, and has excellent blanking workability. SOLUTION: The nonoriented silicon steel sheet having excellent blanking workability has a composition containing, by mass, <=0.005% C, <=0.05% P, 1 to 3.5% Si, 0.05 to 1.5% Mm, 0.1 to 3% Al, <=0.02% S, <=0.005% N and 0.2 to 3% Cr, and the balance substantially Fe, and in which the Vickers hardness of the sheet face in the steel sheet is <=190, and the number of oxide inclusions having a diameter of >=1 μm in the cross section of the steel sheet is <=30 pieces/mm<2> . |
