PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easily and surely reduce the focus displacement in the optical axis direction of an objective lens which occurrs caused by the thermal expansion of an objective lens for a microscope and the microscope. SOLUTION: This objective lens is provided with a positioning member which is disposed at the front end of the objective lens, abuts on the datum plane in the optical axis direction on a specimen side, moves in the state of abutting against the datum plane simultaneously with the movement in the optical axis direction of the datum plane and positions the objective lens, in such a manner that the spacings in the optical axis direction between the front end of the objective lens and the observation sample are maintained fixed. |
