PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylate resin sheet having less breakage production and molding, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This methacrylate resin sheet is obtained by carrying out a polymerization reaction to obtain the polymer having 0.4-1.4 l/g intrinsic viscosity, and cooling the polymer at a <=10 deg.C/min cooling rate. The methacrylate resin sheet having >=10 m<2> area in xz-plane (x-direction is width; and z-direction is length) is produced while reducing the breakage during the production, and of the molding.
