PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spat ink from staying only in a constant position of an ink receiving part and from being projected in a shape of a mountain by dispersing the staying positions of the inks. SOLUTION: In an inkjet printer, a spit mode is executed by moving a carriage having an ink cartridge 11 mounted thereon to a spit region SE outside a printing region. While the spit mode is executed, spitting is performed by moving a nozzle 13a of the print head 13 attached to the ink cartridge 11 in the spit region SE. |
