PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel with which ordinary photographing and a soft focus photographing can be performed by using a single photographic lens and a soft gradation depiction is surely obtained in the case of the soft focus photography. SOLUTION: This lens barrel is equipped with: a diaphragm selection means for selecting a specified diaphragm; and a photographing mode selection means which can be switched to two photographing modes, namely a standard photographing mode and a soft focus photographing mode, which causes spherical aberration larger than that in the standard photographing mode by moving a specified lens in a plurality of lenses constituting the photographic lens when a mode is switched to the soft focus photographing mode, and which has a diaphragm regulating member for regulating the selection of the diaphragm by the diaphragm selection means. When the mode is switched to the standard photographing mode, all of the diaphragms set to the diaphragm selection means can be selected, and when it is switched to the soft focus photographing mode, only the diaphragm whose aperture is larger than the specified diaphragm can be selected.
