PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which ensures excellent color reproducibility and suppresses a color muddiness. SOLUTION: The processing method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material is characterized in that the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having a yellow image forming layer containing a yellow image forming silver halide emulsion, a magenta image forming layer containing a magenta image forming silver halide emulsion and a cyan image forming layer containing a cyan image forming silver halide emulsion on a paper support and containing at least one magenta coupler of formula [M-I] or [M-II] is processed with a color developing solution containing at least one compound whose logP to water is 0.9-1.5 (other than benzyl alcohol).
