LENS CONNECTING DEVICE FOR SPECTACLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens connecting device which is capable of easily and surely connecting temples and a bridge to lenses without making lenses to defective products. SOLUTION: An end segment 9 of a wraparound endpiece 7 and an end segment of the bridge are connected to the lens 2 by using a connector 12. The connector 12 an integrally molded good of a resin and has a cylindrical barrel section 23 to be inserted into a disk-shaped connecting hole 22 disposed at the lens 2 at its rear surface. The barrel section 23 and a substrate 19 are penetrated to be installed with a concentric fixing hole 25. After the barrel section 23 is inserted into the substrate 22, a screw shaft 13 projected to the end segments 9 and 11 is inserted into the fixing hole 25 and a nut 31 is screwed and tightened to the screw shaft salient to the other surface side of the lens. Accompanying this tightening, the barrel section 23 is brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of the connecting hole 22. A projecting part 27a disposed at the front of the substrate 19 and a recessed part 15a disposed at the wraparound endpiece 7 fit each other, thereby detaining the wraparound endpiece 7 and the substrate 19 to each other.
