PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double layer slide bearing usable for a thick rolling bearing, as it is free from a butting part such as a winding bush, and smoothly rotating a supported rotating shaft and the like. SOLUTION: This endless annular double layer slide bearing 1 is made of an endless annular double layer plate 5 having an annular thin steel plate 2, a porous sintered metallic layer 3 integrally formed on one face of the thin steel plate 2 by sintering, and a sliding layer 4 impregnated in the porous sintered metallic layer 3, partially thinly formed on one face of the porous sintered metallic layer 3, and containing a synthetic resin having self-lubricity and abrasion resistance, and the endless annular double layer plate 5 is bent into two in a state of positioning the sliding layer 4 at an outermost peripheral side and an innermost peripheral side in the radial direction.
