PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous water absorption preventive material which is capable of maintaining good water absorption preventive performance for a long period while making use of the texture and hand of materials even under conditions under which pressure is exerted to a porous material like in the case the material is exposed to severe storm and external walls come in contact with snow at all times in snow area. SOLUTION: This aqueous water absorption preventive material consists of an organic silicon compound emulsion, fluororesin emulsion and a deposition assistant. The organic silicon compound emulsion contains (A) an alkylalkoxy silane, (B) an alkylalkoxy silane having an aminoalkyl group and (C) a surfactant. The compounding ratio of the organic silicon compound composition (B) to the organic silicon compound composition (A) is greater than 20 wt.% and below 40 wt.% and the amount of the surfactant (C) is 1 to 20 wt.% of the total amount of the organosilicon compound components (A) and (B).
