PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag taking out/box filling device and method to be used for a rotary bag-in-box packaging machine for surely and stably boxing a filled bag into an outer box. SOLUTION: A bag B is taken out by taking-out arms 103, 104 at a taking out position set in a rotary to be transported to a receiving position at the outside of the rotary, where the bag is delivered to boxing arms 161, 163. The arms first rotate horizontally, move the bag to a boxing preparation position fixed at the outside of the rotary, and lower the bag to a boxing position set underneath for the bag to be boxed in an outer box K positioned and placed underneath.
