PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably jet ink drops and stably obtain high-quality recording for a long time without damaging and abrading opening parts by optimizing a hardness of a plastic material even in a liquid jet recording head having the opening parts formed of the plastic material. SOLUTION: In the liquid jet recording head, recording is carried out by using a recording liquid having fine particles dispersed in a liquid and discharging the recording liquid from fine openings to adhere to a body to be recorded. The liquid jet recording head has a heating unit group comprising a plurality of heating units, electrodes for energizing the heating unit group, liquid chambers to which ink is supplied from recording liquid inflow ports, a plurality of channels communicating with the liquid chambers, and openings formed of the plastic material. A diameter of the opening is made not larger thanΦ25μm, and the hardness of the plastic material is made 65-120 by the Rockwell M scale.
