PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance for a continuously variable transmission by a low cost means with a simple structure including the provision of a cooling air guide. SOLUTION: This paddy field working machine has an engine 17 in front and a driving seat in the rear. In the rear and diagonal lower part of, and at either right or left side of the engine 17, a hydraulic continuously variable transmission 18 linking to the engine 17 via a belt transmission device 19 is disposed, and at the other side of right or left, a cooling fan 20 for supplying cooling air to the engine 17 is disposed. A cooling air guide 25 for guiding to the side of continuously variable transmission 18 the flow of the cooling air passing through the upper part of the engine 17 is disposed.
