NEW SALTS PREPARED BY IMPREGNATING SALTS WITH HALOPHILIC PLANT EXTRACT AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A process of preparing new salts by impregnating salts with an extract of Halophilic plant which has high compatibility with salt is provided. Whereby, the prepared new salts contain a Salicornia herbacea L. component having excellent pharmaceutical action while fulfilling a basic function of salt, and are rich in natural mineral. CONSTITUTION: Salts are fluidized in a fluidizer at 0 to 90 deg.C, an extract of Halophilic plant is injected into the fluidized salts and then dried at 90 to 95 deg.C to produce new salts containing 5 to 20% by weight of a Halophilic plant extract. The Halophilic plant is one selected from Salicornia herbacea L., Suaeda Asparagoides, Suaeda japonica, Aster tripolium L., Plumbagella and Suaeda maritima.
