The invention relates to molding compounds on the basis of wood particles and duroplastic prepolymers, consisting of 65 to 95 wt.- % modified wood particles, 5 to 34.5 wt.- % duroplastic prepolymers and 0.5 to 10 wt.- % thermoplastics, elastomers and/or waxes. The inventive molding compounds are produced by multi-step reactive compounding and the wood particles are impregnated with thermoplastics, elastomers and/or waxes and dried, subjected to an ammonium gas treatment in a kneader and reacted with duroplastic prepolymers. The molding compounds are suitable for producing semi-finished products and molding materials for use in the construction industry and furniture industry. |
