PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device capable of dealing with demands from various users at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a video processor 4 to which an electronic endoscope 2 having a built-in CCD 3 is detachably connected, a signal outputted from the CCD 3 is A-D converted and is white balance adjusted, and a video signal of NTSC is outputted to a monitor 5 to perform basic processing of generating a video signal. Further, an optional substrate 7 provided with a connector 24 being freely detachably connected is mounted on a connector 6 for outputting a signal after subjected to AGC(Auto Gain Control) processing. Thus, functions demanded by the users such as output of a signal to a monitor 5 after emphasizing processing can be easily realized by mounting the substrate 7, or the like. |
