A closure (12) and lenticular lens (11) assembly that has a retaining member (16) with a bend (17b) and a substantially horizontal, circular rim portion (17c) is disclosed. The rim portion (17c) extends annularly inward from the bend (17b) to secure the lens (11) to a top surface (22) of the closure (12). A method for forming the closure (12) and lens (11) assembly is also disclosed that includes placing a lenticular lens (11) into the closure (12) top and curling the retaining member (16) radially inward over an edge of the lenticular lens (11).
