PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing functional wine by utilizing a Chinese medicine material. SOLUTION: The Chinese medicine material comprising 35-45 wt.% lotus fruit, 4-9 wt.% antler of Cervus etaphus, 2-5 wt.% Acanthopanax spinosum, 2-5 wt.% ginseng, 2-5 wt.% Eucommia ulmoides Oliver, 1-3 wt.% Schizandrae fructus and 28-54 wt.% other Chinese medicine materials is mixed with water and the mixture is heated for 3-6 hr at 80 deg.C to 120 deg.C and the resultant extract is heated to 60 deg.C-70 deg.C under a constant pressure and filtered, and the filtrate is heated at 60-70 deg.C under a constant pressure for 3-6 hr in 600 to 700 mmHg reduced pressure to provide a Chinese medicine material concentrate having 50-70% water content. Separately, 3-45 wt.% ginger is mixed with 3-45 wt.% jujube, water is added to the mixture and the resultant mixture is heated at 80-120 deg.C for 3-6 hr and then extracted to provide a concentrate of ginger and jujube. A diluted solution of ethanol is formulated with the concentrate of the Chinese medicine materials and the concentrate of ginger and jujube and the formulation is cooled and filtered to produce a semi-product having 20-25% alcohol content and the semi- product is aged and the supernatant liquid is collected to produce the functional wine. |
