PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a marine ammonia-decomposing microorganism that can decompose ammonia as a eutrophic component thereby preventing red tide in the sea and improving the cultivation of fishes living in the sea water. SOLUTION: A haloduric ammonia-decomposing microorganism that has been found as a result of experiments is utilized to clean the marine water contaminated with ammonia and relating compounds.
