PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for gems which can further enhance the beauty of the gems. SOLUTION: The support structure 1 for gems contains a gem 4, a reflection part 5 which is arranged on the rear side of the gem 4 being properly separated from the gem 4 while having a mirror face facing the gem 4, and a gem support part 6 which is interposed between the gem 4 and the reflection part 5 to support the gem 4. The mirror face of the reflection part 5 is preferably a convex mirror capable of forming a reflection image of the gem 4 being enlarged. The reflection image of the gem 4 is visible through an opening part 7 of the gem support part 6.
