PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for stacking and discharging seedling boxes in a seedling cultivation equipment, capable of smoothly conducting stacking and discharging operations therein. SOLUTION: This unit for stacking and discharging the seedling boxes in the seedling cultivation equipment has a seedling box-stacking device which stacks seedling boxes transferred by a seedling box transfer conveyor 12 into multiple stages and holds the seedling boxes over the conveyor, a stacked seedling box-discharging device which discharges the seedling boxes C, C stacked and held by the seedling box-stacking device on the downstream side, and lifting claws which are positioned on the right and left sides of the seedling box- stacking device and used for lifting the seedling box C thereon, wherein each of the lifting claws has a freely bendable guide tool 31. Further, the top end of the guide tool 31 positioned on the upstream side in the transfer direction is made to be diagonally downward inclined according as the lifting claws each travels to the transfer surface of the seedling box transfer conveyor 12. When the lift claws positioned on the right and left sides of the seedling box- stacking unit travel to each of seedling box-receiving positions along the transfer surface of the transfer conveyor 12, the top ends of the freely bendable guide tools 31 are each made to be diagonally downward bent by actuating pins 32, 32, so that the top end of the transferred seedling box is guided by the bent surfaces of the guide tools, and simultaneously the seedling box is smoothly transferred to the lifting claws, and therefore the seedling box is easily stacked even though it is deformed. |
