PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector allowing the bending of a needle tube while keeping the clean state of a medical needle used by bending the needle tube and also protecting the tip (cutting edge) of the medical needle, and a medical needle assembly comprising the protector and the medical needle. SOLUTION: This protector 1 comprises a base end part 3 and a cylindrical body 2 having a tip part 4, and the body 2 has a space capable of housing the needle tube of the medical needle in the inner part. The needle tube is bendable by fingers. The base end part 3 has a fitting part 5 to be fitted to the hub of the medical needle when the medical needle is housed in the body 2. The body 2 of the protector 1 comprises a bendable region 6 capable of bending the part of the body 2. The bendable region 6 comprises a horizontal slit 7 provided in the circumferential direction of the body 2 and a vertical slit 8 provided along the axial direction of the body 2. |
