PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new G protein-coupled receptor specifically acting on an extracellular signal transduction molecule and further its associated agonist and antagonist because the activation or inhibition of the G protein-coupled receptor has a possibility of having therapeutic results. SOLUTION: A polynucleotide and a polypeptide sequence are described. The polypeptide sequence comprises one or more of (a) a polypeptide having a deduced amino acid sequence translated from a specific polynucleotide sequence or variants, fragments, homologues, analogues or derivatives thereof and (b) a polypeptide having a related sequence or variants, fragments, homologues, analogues or derivatives thereof. An agonist or an antagonist of the polypeptide is used in the therapeutic fields such as inflammation, cancer, dermatology, metabolic disease and antiinfection. |
