PROCESS FOR PROVIDING READILY USABLE AND HOMOGENEOUSLY DISPERSED EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX AS SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for providing an extracellular matrix that is ready-to-use and homogenously dispersible as a substrate. SOLUTION: This process comprises application of an extracellular matrix component to a substrate face, polymerization of the extracellular matrix component by incubation of the extracellular matrix component on the substrate face, freezing the polymerized extracellular matrix component on the substrate face, freeze-drying the frozen extracellular matrix component on the substrate and temperature rise of the freeze-dried extracellular matrix from the freezing temperature up to room one. A cell-culture apparatus can be given by using the dried and homogenously dispersed extracellular matrix prepared through the process according to this invention.
