PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of enhancing resilience against a ball while avoiding a decrease in strength of a face part. SOLUTION: In the hollow golf club head comprising a crown part 2 and a sole part 3 both joined to the face part 1, a groove 5 extending along the face 1a is provided in at least either the crown part 2 or the sole part 3.
