PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water making method and a water making apparatus capable of making drinkable bacteria-free water well adjusted in the balance of mineral components while suppressing equipment/operation cost low. SOLUTION: The water making apparatus is equipped with a seawater intake means, a reverse osmosis separation means for separating seawater into fresh water and concentrated water, an ultrafiltration means for performing the ultrafiltration of concentrated water and a reflux means for refluxing at least a part of filtered water due to the ultrafiltration means to fresh water. The water making apparatus is used to treat seawater using a reverse osmosis membrane not only to separate the same into fresh water and concentrated water but also to subject at least a part of concentrated water to bacteria removing treatment by an ultrafiltration membrane before adding the same to fresh water. |
