PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the portability and operability of an endoscope. SOLUTION: An LED for illuminating is disposed on an end of an insertion portion 11 of a fiber scope 10. An air sending and water sending unit 15 is provided on an operating portion 12. The unit 15 is provided with a unit body 80 and a water sending tank 81 storing cleaning water. The body 80 is fixed on the portion 12 in the opposite side to an air sending and water sending button 71 and a suction button 72 so that the portion 12 extends in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the portion 12. An air sending pump 82 and a battery 83 are disposed inside the body 80. External air sucked from the outside by the pump 82 is sent to the button 71, an air sending nozzle 51 and a water sending tank 81. The battery 83 supplies a driving current to the pump 82 and to the LED at the end of the portion 11.
