SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in making through hole 2 in ice 1 and securing cloth 3 on upper surface; then, compressed air fed under cloth by means of compressor 4 and hose 5. As a result, air cushion 6 is formed above ice and air cavity 7 is formed under ice. Ice under cloth 3 sags and gets broken under action of its own mass. EFFECT: increased load on ice. 2 cl, 1 dwg
