PURPOSE:To propose laser beam process equipment which makes it possible to make a process time shorter than usual and, moreover, to change easily a gradation conversion table. CONSTITUTION:In laser beam process equipment which has a laser light source for forming a plate by scanning a plate sheet relatively by a laser beam and a gradation conversion means 14 for reading out image data transferred to data RAM 17 from a host computer 26 through CPU 12, supplying them and converting into process data of gradation corresponding to the image data and which is designed so that the laser beam from the laser light source is modulated by the process data from the gradation conversion means 14, this gradation conversion means 14 is constructed of static RAM. Furthermore, a gradation conversion table corresponding to the image data transferred to the data RAM 17 from the host computer 26 through the CPU 12 is transferred to the static RAM 14 from the host computer 26 through the CPU 12. |
