FIELD: silicate materials technology. SUBSTANCE: preliminarily prepared raw meal containing naturally occurring clayey mineral and water is placed in mold, preliminarily dehydrated in high-frequency current source field, dried, and roasted, provided that preliminary dehydration is carried-out until moisture content reaches 22-24%, high-frequency current source is arranged such that direction of emission propagation coincides with predetermined orientation of axis of pores stretched in material, and drying is effected under infrared emission with wavelength 5- 10 mcm at 40-110 C.
