The present disclosure refers to a novel safety catch incorporated to an ammunitions sportive rifle, by which it is prevented the accidental shot of the weapon even when it is charged and ready to be used, only requiring to release it at the moment of shooting. The constitutive parts of this safety catch can be comprised by an augmented button, rectangular with its ends cut by its upper face, so to have the transversal silhouette of a trapezium, with grooves on its surface for fastening and moving it manually and curved by its lower face with the same correlative shape of the barrel, furthermore, it has a small lateral orifice wherein a bolt is introduced which joins to a safety catch base, which carries a pin, consisting in a straight shaft, placed vertically and with a slightly long length so that it juts out, which will be introduced in a buttonhole where the safety catch runs, and counts with a single one-way movement and its return to its initial position; comprising also a safety catch base, placed under the safety catch, which consists in rectangular-shaped piece that will serve as lever for the set of the safety catch at the moment of loading the weapon, from which a second body also rectangular of oval base is loosen, which has a lateral orifice towards the upper part correlative to the safety catch orifice, the upper pin having the characteristic of carrying an upper cut and a spring, consisting in a flat strengthened sheet, with an oval central orifice correlative to the safety catch pin, so it can be introduced, in said pin, acting with a flexion movement, with the function of pressing the safety catch and keeping it in a pressed position and remaining fixed. The present invention field is within the universe of ammunitions sportive rifles.
