FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing article containing bristle support and bristle insert composed of separate vertical plastic bristles; inserting separate bristles with their attachment ends into openings of perforated template, with diameter of openings slightly exceeding diameter of separate bristles and perforation pattern corresponding to bristles arrangement in bristle insert or part thereof so that ends of bristles at attachment sides project at opposite side of perforated template by almost equal distance; clamping bristles in perforated template against axial and radial shift; providing base from liquid hardening material on attachment side of bristle supporting surface; embedding bristles into base with their attachment ends so that liquid hardening material flows around end of each bristle; providing hardening of base.
