<p>A dyeable polyolefine comprises a crystalline polyolefine containing a dispersion of 2 to 20% by weight of two different classes of hydrophilic substances, one class (A), amounting to 90 to 30% of the substances, preferably not less than 50%, being a polymerizate formed, at least in part, from the polymerization of an N-vinyl substituted heterocyclic monomer containing one or more heteronitrogen atoms, and the second class (B), amounting to 10 to 70% of the substances, being one or more lower molecular weight organic polar substances typified by amines, esters, ethers, mono- and polyhydric alcohols, carboxylic acids, sulphonic acids and phosphoric acids, said class (A) and class (B) substances forming a synergistic combination. Extensive lists of class (A) and (B) substances are given. In the examples isotactic polypropylene is modified, the class (A) substance used is poly N-vinylpyrrolidone and class (B) substances used are dodecyl benzene sulphonic acid and the sodium salt thereof; nonyl phenol polyglycol ether; polyethyleneglycol distearate; glycerol monostearate; tertiary dihydrogenated tallow methyl amine; neutralization equivalents of tertiary hydrogenated tallow dimethyl amine and adipic acid; tertiary coconut dimethyl amine; tertiary coconut di-(hydroxypropyl) amine; tertiary coconut amine with 15 moles of propylene oxide; quarternary hydrogenated tallow di-(hydroxypropyl) methylammonium sulphate; quaternary dihydrogenated tallow dimethylammonium chloride; secondary dicoconut amine; quaternary hydrogenated tallow trimethyl ammonium chloride; N-tallow, N - N - dimethyl, N1 - N1 - N1 - trimethyl - 1,3 - propylene diammonium chloride; quaternary stearyl di-(hydroxyethyl) methyl ammonium chloride; quaternary stearyl methyl ammonium chloride containing 15 moles of ethylene oxide; tertiary stearyl di-(hydroxyethyl) amine; tertiary stearyl amine with 15 moles of ethylene oxide; di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid and the sodium salt thereof; glycerine; sorbitol; methoxy polyethylene glycol and tertiary hydroxypropyl substituted ethylene diamine.</p> |
