FIELD: mining and construction engineering; designed for automatic control over position of tunneling complexes applicable in construction of tunnels and collectors. SUBSTANCE: setter of tunneling direction in complex is made in the form of theodolite. Sighting target is formed of light-emitting diode located on tunneling complex body by means of transverse strip in plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of tunneling complex body and symmetrical to said axis. Optical axis of video detector in initial position of tunneling complex is collinear to sighting target. EFFECT: higher reliability of device, extended field of its application in tunneling complexes of various applications. 2 dwg
