FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at laying of pipelines. According to invention cylindrical inserts made of corrosion-resistant metal are installed inside ends of metal pipe. Outer surface on inserts is connected by diffusion welding with inner surface of pipe ends. Contact pressure of connected surfaces is provided by different thermal expansion of connected members in process of their jointing heating. Description of invention includes recommendations on choice of linear expansion temperature coefficients of connected members. EFFECT: improved reliability of pipeline owing to increased corrosion resistance of pipe welding joints at laying of pipeline. 3 cl, 2 dwg
