DEVICE FOR CLEANING AND DRYING NATURAL GAS AND ASSOCIATED PETROLEUM GAS AT HIGH CONTENT OF HYDROGEN SULFIDE

FIELD: gas and oil industry; devices for complex cleaning of gases from sulfuric compounds and moisture. SUBSTANCE: cleaning procedure is performed at two stages: first initial gas is preliminarily cleaned from hydrogen sulfide in absorber at catalytic packings by washing it with aqueous solution of sulfurous acid, sulfuric acid and sulfur dioxide obtained during burning regenerative gases and cleaning flue gases by water in scrubber with catalytic packing; at second stage, thorough cleaning and drying of gases is performed on absorbent made in form of molecular sieves which are regenerated periodically and are cooled by cleaned and dried gas; regenerative gases are directed after adsorber to furnace for afterburning. Device is additionally provided with at least three adsorbers 4, 5 and 6 provided in their turn with molecular sieves with reboiler 8 and recuperative heat exchanger 7 for thorough cleaning and drying of gas and regeneration of adsorbent; column for mixing sulfur dioxide with solvent is made in form of scrubber 13 with multi-layer catalytic packings sprinkled with water; absorber 2 for flushing starting gas is also provided with catalytic packings for intensification of chemosorption process.
