SOLUTION: For the lithium ion secondary battery in which a plate group and a sealing plate are connected to each other by a collector lead, a part of a positive core material or negative core material is an uncoated part having no active material, and a part of the uncoated part is led out of the plate group to become the collector lead. An end of the collector lead 1 is held between a sacrifice member 2, the main component of which is the same as the collector lead 1, and the sealing plate 3 and laser-welded.
