PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make hardness between lower and upper receiving members different by changing the materials of the lower and upper receiving members, for example, and to cut a polymer electrolyte membrane having a trim blade by deforming the lower receiving member or the upper receiving member following the trim blade, or absorbing errors of each part of a trimming device, and to surely cut the polymer electrolyte membrane with a small load by touching the whole part of the trim blade to the polymer electrolyte membrane. SOLUTION: This rimming device 10 is composed of a trimming drag 14, on which an MEA 65a is placed and a trimming cope 16 having a trim blade 15, the lower receiving member 25 having wider area than the MEA 65a is installed in the trimming drag 14, the upper receiving member 26 receiving the edge of a PEM 13a is fit to the lower receiving member 25, and thereby, the cutting force of the trimming blade 15 is transmitted to the edge of the PEM 13a, the upper receiving member 26, and the lower receiving member 25, in this order. |
