PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retail power bought from a power generation provider with low- power charges to a contracted general consumer by surveying power charges of a power company and independent power generation providers in advance, setting power retail charges, based on the power charges and providing general consumers with the information about the power retail charges. SOLUTION: A power provider 13 obtains respective power charge menus of power suppliers, such as the power company 11 and the independent power generation providers 12a and 12b, also purchases power, sets the retail power charges on the basis of the power charge menus and notifies each power consumer of the retail power charges via IP network 17. The power provider 13 sends the purchased power to contracted consumers on consignment via a transformer station 23 for power distribution of the power company 11. The power provider 13 also takes out power safety supply insurance as necessary to prepare for, for example, unpredictable rise in power charges and in cases the independent power generation providers 12a and 12b is unable to supply power. |
