<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulated switchgear that enables cost reduction by suppressing displacement and stress generated inside a container, without increasing the thickness of entire part of the container. SOLUTION: In the gas insulated switchgear, that stores an electric appliance in an insulating gas sealed at a specified pressure and that has a cylindrical container 40 of almost elliptical shape in cross-section, a plurality of rib reinforcement parts 66 are protrusively extended in the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface of the container 40 and provided at a specified interval in the axial direction of the container. A reinforcement member 67 of a plate shape is provided, that connects a plurality of the rib-reinforcing parts 66 to each other.</p> |
